2022 NFL season, Week 17: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 17 Sunday:

  • Arizona Cardinals tight end Stephen Anderson was ruled out against the Falcons with an illness. Wide receiver Robbie Anderson (back) and defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter (knee) were also ruled out. Running back James Conner suffered a shin injury and did not return.
  • Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Andy Isabella (thigh) and offensive tackle Morgan Moses (biceps) sustained injuries on Sunday night.
  • Chicago Bears offensive lineman Teven Jenkins (neck) did not return against the Lions. Offensive lineman Michael Schofield (knee) was ruled out. Defensive back Jaylon Jones was also ruled out with a concussion. Wide receiver Dante Pettis was evaluated for a concussion and did not return. Pettis cleared concussion protocol but has some blurred vision and was sent to the hospital for precautionary reasons, per coach Matt Eberflus.
  • Denver Broncos running back Marlon Mack (hamstring) did not return against the Chiefs. Cornerback Damarri Mathis was ruled out with a concussion. Guard Dalton Risner (elbow) and safety P.J. Locke (ankle) also did not return.
  • Green Bay Packers kicker Ramiz Ahmed (groin) did not return versus the Vikings.
  • Indianapolis Colts quarterback Nick Foles (ribs) was ruled out against the Giants after being carted off to the locker room with 50 seconds left in the first half.
  • Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (hand) and guard Joe Thuney (ankle) were ruled out versus the Broncos.
  • Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Darien Butler was ruled out with a concussion.
  • Miami Dolphins quarterback Teddy Bridgewater injured a finger on his right hand against the Patriots and did not return. Bridgewater's injury is potentially a broken finger, but he will undergo testing and imaging on Monday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Safety Jevon Holland did not return with an arm injury. Offensive tackle Kendall Lamm did not return with an ankle injury.
  • Minnesota Vikings center Austin Schlottmann, who was ruled out versus the Packers, suffered a fractured fibula in his left ankle, per coach Kevin O'Connell. Offensive tackle Brian O'Neill, who was also ruled out with a calf injury, will have an MRI on his calf muscle, per O'Connell. Linebacker Brian Asamoah did not return with a knee injury.
  • New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers suffered a shoulder injury and did not return versus the Dolphins.
  • New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk (hip) was ruled out against the Eagles.
  • New York Giants defensive lineman Leonard Williams (burner) did not return against the Colts.
  • New York Jets safety Lamarcus Joyner (hip) was ruled out versus the Seahawks.
  • Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Josh Sweat was carted off the field with a neck injury against the Saints. Sweat was transported to a local hospital for precautionary reasons and has movement in all extremities, the team announced.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Myles Jack (groin) and cornerback James Pierre (concussion) were ruled out in Sunday's game.
  • San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Aaron Banks (knee) did not return against the Raiders. Linebacker Dre Greenlaw (back) also did not return.
  • Seattle Seahawks linebacker Jordyn Brooks was carted off the field in the second quarter against the Jets and was ruled out with a knee injury. Brooks is getting imaging done Sunday night, per coach Pete Carroll. Guard Phil Haynes has an ankle sprain, per Carroll.
  • Washington Commanders defensive lineman Jonathan Allen was ruled out versus the Browns after he hyperextended his knee, per coach Ron Rivera. Rivera added that doctors will take a closer look Monday.
